Actor Dileep has come up with a much awaited announcement about one of his hit movie ‘CID Moosa’. 17 years after the release of Moosa, Dileep and his team are bringing the CID Moosa animated film to the audience. The announcement comes on World Animation Day. The promo video of the film has also been released. The movie ‘CID Moosa’ has an evergreen stature in Malayalam cinema, not only because of its success in the Kerala box office but also the fan following it still has. The movie directed by Johny Antony was released in 2003 and had Dileep in the lead role.
As the movie crosses the 17th anniversary of its release, the makers have announced a surprise to the fans. Those who are hoping for a sequel of the movie might have to wait for a little further. Actor Dileep, through his Facebook page, has announced that a CID Moosa animation film will soon hit the screens. Produced by Dileep and Anoop under the banner of Grant Productions, CID Moosa is scripted by Uday Krishna CBK Thomas. Bhavana, Cochin Haneefa, Unnikrishnan, Harishree Ashokan, Salim Kumar, Sukumari, Bindu Panicker, Murali, Captain Raju, Indrans and Ashish Vidyarthi were among the big names in the cast.
