Kozhikode: A professor was stabbed in Kozhikode NIT. Jayachandran, professor of civil engineering department, was stabbed. Vinod Kumar stabbed him. He is an alumnus of NIT, Kozhikode.
The incident happened around 12.15 pm on Friday. Kunthamangalam police took Vinod into custody for attacking the teacher. The injured professor was admitted to a private hospital in Kozhikode. It is reported that his injury is not serious.
