Malappuram. Karate trainerr V Siddique Ali, a native of Urkkadav, has been arrested by the police in connection with the discovery of a 17-year-old girl’s dead body at Vattathur Muttungal quay in Edavannapara Chaliyar. The police have registered a case under the POCSO Act.
The girl was found dead in the river near her house at around 8:30 on Monday night. The family had been searching for the girl since six o’clock. Then the child was seen lying in the river.
Locals say that on the day the child died, they saw two strangers at the spot. The locals say that when the neighbors approached, the bike was running away without giving a face.
