Thiruvananthapuram: In a crucial step against substance abuse, Kerala University has introduced a new mandate requiring students to submit an anti-drug affidavit for admission.
Students seeking admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs must declare that they will abstain from drug use. Additionally, the university plans to establish “Friendship Clubs” in all affiliated colleges and introduce awards for drug-free campuses.
The announcement was made during the budget presentation at today’s Senate meeting.
