Thiruvananthapuram: The KSRTC Employees submitted a petition to Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Thiruvananthapuram ADA candidate, demanding that the Center intervene to bring KSRTC back to life. KSRTC is the trust of common people. But the Kerala government is adopting policies that threaten its very existence.
Due to aging of vehicles, replacement of vehicles or non-appointment of new employees creates many problems. According to the petition submitted by the employees, it is not possible to run the service even on the nationalized routes. Rajeev Chandrasekhar was handed over the report by the staff when he visited Thampanoor bus stand to request votes.
Their demand is that urgent attention should be given to implementing transformations through central government schemes in such a way that KSRTC can be kept useful and create more employment opportunities. Rajeev Chandrasekhar assured to intervene in the incident.
