Mahe police registered a case against PC George for insulting the women community

The Mahe police registered a case under various sections against the BJP leader PC George who made insulting statements including the women community of Mayyazhi. 153 A, 67 IT Act, 125 RP. The case is according to the Act. C.P.M. The case was registered following a complaint filed by various political parties and organizations in Mahe, including Mahe local secretary KP Sunilkumar.

The controversial statement was made while inaugurating the election convention of Kozhikode NDA candidate MT Ramesh. PC George’s controversial remark was that Mahe was a center for prostitutes and a place where hooligans and rowdies used to hang out. After this there was a huge protest against PC George.

Apart from this, Mahi MLA Ramesh Parambath has filed a complaint against PC George with the National Commission for Women and the Election Commission. Mahi region BJP president A Dinesan responded that PC George’s remarks about Mahi were regrettable.
