Kuwait fire; Aircraft carrying dead bodies of Indians lands at Kochi airport

Aircraft arrived in Kochi with the bodies of those who died in a fire at a labor camp in Kuwait. The flight took off from Kuwait at around 6.20 Indian time. The dead bodies will be transported by Air Force C130J aircraft.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, State Union Minister State Suresh Gopi, state ministers and others will receive the dead bodies. The bodies of 31 people, including the bodies of 23 Malayalis, are being brought to Kochi. Ernakulam District Collector NSK Umesh informed that the process of releasing the dead bodies will be expedited. A meeting was held at the airport regarding this. The Collector informed that the process of transporting the dead bodies to other states has been completed.
