Malayalam films will not be released in theaters from February 23, FEUOK has toughened stance

Thiruvananthapuram: The Theater Owners’ Association FEUOK has taken a tough decision not to release Malayalam movies in theaters in Kerala from today. FEUOK, an organization of theater owners, with the strike. FEUOK clarified that no new Malayalam movies will be released in theaters in Kerala from February 23. Two films that were supposed to release today were already shifted.

FEUOK also protested against releasing the OTT rules. FEUOK’s position is that it will proceed with this decision until it receives a favorable response. The film is released on OTT after twenty to thirty days. The question posed by FEUOK is how can one go to the theater to watch such a thing.

The theater owners have clarified that the protest will not affect the films currently showing in the theatres. The agreement is that the OTT release will be allowed only after 40 days of the film’s release. But the contract is continuously violated.
