The funeral ceremony of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, will take place today at 11:45 AM at Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi with full military honors. Following the demise of Dr. Manmohan Singh, the state has declared a one-week official mourning.
The Department of Information and Public Relations announced that the official mourning will be observed from December 26 to January 1. In light of the national mourning declared across the country, the national flag will be flown at half-mast throughout the state.
During the mourning period, all official events of the state government have been canceled, as per an order from the General Administration Department. The government also informed that district collectors have been instructed via an official directive to ensure the national flag is flown at half-mast at all locations where it is permanently hoisted.
