A massive fire broke out in Kalamassery, Ernakulam, near a beverages outlet. It is suspected that the fire has spread to nearby houses. The first unit of the fire force has already reached the spot. The fire erupted in a residential area, causing panic among locals.
The blaze originated in the godown of a cot manufacturing company owned by Kayaruvalli Jamal. Electrical wires in the area have also snapped and fallen due to the fire. A daring rescue operation is currently underway in Kalamassery. Efforts are being made to remove vehicles from the godown. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
