Varkala: A middle-aged man was found dead, bleeding heavily, in the heart of Varkala today. The body was discovered near a shopfront with blood streaming from a head wound. The deceased has been identified as Biju, a painter from Vettoor, known locally by his first name.
The cause of death is currently unknown. The body was found near a shop close to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) office this morning. The police have intensified the investigation, suspecting it may be a case of murder.
