Thrissur and Palakkad strikes mild earthquake. The earthquake occurred in the Kunnamkulam area of Thrissur and in the Palakkad Thirumattakod areas. A mild earthquake was felt at 8.16 am. The earthquake that lasted only seconds shook the windows of the houses.
No other damage was reported. Earthquake occurred in Kunnamkulam, Vellore Mundur parts and Tirumattakode Chazhiyatiri parts.
