Actor Mohanlal donated money to the Chief Minister’s relief fund in the wake of the Wayanad landslides. The actor contributed Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Mohanlal’s emotional note shared earlier got a lot of attention, I salute the courage of each and every selfless volunteer, police, fire and rescue, NDRF, army, government officials and others who are working tirelessly to bring relief to the Wayanad disaster victims. I am grateful for the efforts of my 122 Infantry Battalion TA Madras who were at the forefront of the relief mission.

Apart from Mohanlal, stars like Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya and Asif Ali also contributed to the relief fund. Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan donated Rs 35 lakh to the relief fund. In the first phase, Mammootty contributed Rs 20 lakh and Dulquer Rs 15 lakh to the relief fund. Minister P Rajeev received the amount. The amount was transferred as part of the Mammootty Care Foundation.
