The Special Investigation Team recorded statements from family members in connection with the death of Naveen Babu. The team arrived at Naveen Babu’s residence in Malayalapuzha, Pathanamthitta, by noon and documented statements from Naveen’s wife, Manjusha, and other family members. After recording detailed statements, the team departed from the residence.
The family members did not make any statements to the media following the investigation. Yesterday, the team had recorded the statement of petrol pump owner Prashanth. Naveen Babu’s family had previously approached the court, expressing dissatisfaction with the effectiveness of the investigation, despite the assignment of a special team. Family members, including Naveen’s brother, have demanded a comprehensive inquiry into the conspiracy behind the bribery allegations raised by P.P. Divya.
