Nenmara double murder case suspect Chenthamara to be produced in court today

Palakkad: After a two-day and two-night search, the police found Chenthamara, the accused in the Nenmara double murder case, by last night. The accused will be produced in court today. Meanwhile, Chenthamara was shifted to the DYSP office due to public anger. He was shifted from Nenmara station to Alathur DYSP office in the morning.

Detailed questioning will be held at the DYSP office. The locals’ protest in front of Nenmara station lasted until midnight. The police repelled the locals by lathi-charge and closing the gate. Meanwhile, the accused told the police that he did not die despite consuming poison yesterday. The accused also says that he did not die despite standing in front of an elephant to die.

He was arrested late last night from the Mattai area in Pothundi, where a joint operation was conducted by the police and locals.
