Palakkad: Chethamara, the accused in the Nenmmara double murder case, has refused to give a confessional statement. He changed his stance after consulting with his lawyer.
Chethamara was presented before the Chittur Judicial First Class Magistrate Court this afternoon for recording his confessional statement. The judge posed several questions related to the confession, to which the accused initially responded without hesitation. However, after meeting his lawyer, he altered his decision and declined to confess.
