Nine Vehicles Caught Coming to Dump Waste in Aamayizhanchan Canal

Thiruvananthapuram: Seeing the death of Joy, the people did not correct it. Those who had come to deposit garbage in Amayizhanchan creek were caught. Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation seized nine vehicles and levied a fine of Rs.45090. Mayor Arya Rajendran said that strict action will be taken against those who dump garbage. The women’s health squad was on the scene last night in the city. They divided into three groups and caught the people who dumped garbage in the Amaizhanchan creek.

As a first step, the fine was imposed as per the current law. Additional fines and disciplinary action including cancellation of vehicle registration will be taken. Waste management is not the sole responsibility of the municipality, government or employees. Everyone is responsible for that. If our city becomes dirty, it is the downfall of all of us. Arya Rajendran said that the method of throwing garbage should be stopped. The municipal corporation has the system to process all kinds of garbage.
