Kochi: The High Court rejected the bail plea of accused Sajith Shyam in the organ trafficking case. The court said that if the accused is released on bail, it will send a wrong message to the society and the allegations against the accused are serious. The police informed the court that there is a big racket behind the smuggling.
The court said that if the prosecution’s allegations are true, a deep investigation is required. The court also considered that the NIA was going to take up the investigation in the case. The prosecution claims that Sajith is the link between the people who are ready for organ transplant and the prime accused Sabit.
The prosecution found that more people were involved in the conspiracy. Sajith Shyam was handling financial transactions in organ trafficking.
