Kottayam: A CI has been arrested in a case of fraud in Kottayam by promising foreign jobs. Changanassery native C P Sajayan, who was an inspector at Thoppumpady station, was arrested.
He had been under suspension for a long time. The fraud was committed by an institution called Can Assure in Kottayam. The owner of the institution, Preethi Mathew, was arrested the other day. It is reported that the policeman Sajayan is the person who helped the main accused commit the fraud.
