Last Saturday, the jeep carrying the patient to the hospital was vandalized by Padayappa. The passengers escaped unhurt. The elephant destroyed Pradeep’s jeep from Rajamala. Pradeep had reached near the Kannimala factory with a jeep to take the wife of Ranjith, a native of Kannimala, to the hospital.
Ranjith and his family got into the jeep and when the vehicle was about to leave, Padayappa attacked unexpectedly.
