Paramekkavu Temple Agrashala Fire: Cause Unclear, Devaswom Calls for Investigation into Possible Foul Play

A fire broke out last night at the Agrashala (dining hall) of Paramekkavu Temple in Thrissur. The incident occurred on the first floor of the temple’s dining facility, which is managed by the Paramekkavu Devaswom. Several items, including the dining mats and other materials used for serving food, were destroyed in the blaze. Three units of the fire department were dispatched to the scene, successfully extinguishing the fire.

The cause of the fire at Paramekkavu Temple’s Agrashala remains unclear. The Paramekkavu Devaswom has expressed concerns over the possibility of foul play and has requested the police to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.
