A protest erupted at Trivandrum Airport after an Air India Express flight was delayed. The flight to Muscat, originally scheduled to depart at 8:45 AM, was delayed, leading to the protest. Passengers stated that they were informed only at 6 PM that the flight would depart, despite arriving at the airport at 5 AM.
Following the protest, 45 passengers, including women and children, were moved to a hotel in Kazhakootam. However, protests continued when there was a delay in the room allocation. After Air India Express issued a notification, 15 rooms were made available for the passengers. The airline explained that the delay was due to technical reasons.
