PUBG Mobile India relaunching after ban

PUBG Corporation is currently underway to relaunch its PUBG Mobile Game in India after the recent ban. It has announced that the game will soon be making comeback with a local twist to it, and will be called PUBG Mobile India. The company has not announced when the game will be made available to Indian players.

According to reports, the Indian version of the PUBG Mobile India will be initially available only for users on the Android platform. It is likely that the company would release the game for iOS users after a few days. On November 12, PUBG Corporation had announced its plan to release a special Indian version of PUBG Mobile and since then fans of PUBG in India eagerly waiting for the official release. Several reports claim that PUBG Mobile India will officially be released in December first week but PUBG Corporation is yet to make any official announcement in this regard.

It is to be noted that the Indian version of PUBG will be released only after the approval of the Government of India. According to reports, the Centre has already approved the official registration of the mobile game in India. This means that PUBG Mobile India is now a registered company as per the rules and regulations laid down by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The new company has been listed on the ministry’s website with a valid Corporate Identity Number (CIN) and registered office is in Bengaluru. Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile app was banned by the Indian government in September over national security issues.
