Kannur: Investigation against a police officer in Kannur for sharing the speech of Youth Congress State President Rahul Mamkoottathil’s post on Facebook.
The move is against Prince, Senior Civil Police Officer of Kannur Thaliparam Police Station. The police officer shared the speech of Rahul Mamkoottathil on his Facebook. The district police chief found that the incident has tarnished the political neutrality of the police.
The district police chief directed the Cherupuzha CI to conduct an investigation and submit a report. The district police chief has also ordered that a charge memo be issued within a week.
