Kathakali master Sadanam Naripatta Narayanan Namboothiri (77) passed away. A disciple of the legendary Keezhpadam Kumaran Nair, Sadanam Naripatta Narayanan Namboothiri was undergoing treatment at a private hospital when he passed away.
His demise occurred at around 2:30 AM at a private hospital in Perinthalmanna. The funeral will be held today at 4 PM at his residence in Karalmanna, Narikkattiri Mana. He was renowned for his portrayal of key roles like Kattalan (Hunter), Hamsam (Swan), and Brahmin in Kathakali.
He had received several prestigious recognitions, including the Kerala Kalamandalam Fellowship. The funeral rites will be conducted today at 4 PM at his residence in Karalmanna, Narikkattiri Mana.
