Thiruvananthapuram: Rs 2,000 crores due. Pump owners will stop supplying fuel to police and government vehicles. The All Kerala Federation of Petroleum Traders has announced that it will not provide fuel from the 1st of next month.

Distributors said that this is creating a huge financial crisis. A letter was given to the Chief Secretary and DGP in this regard.

The federation had warned about the arrears on January 1. Out of six months’ dues then, four months’ dues were paid to the pumps. But again six months dues are due.

There are pumps available from 4 lakhs to 25 lakhs. It has been announced that fuel supply to police, fire force, revenue and other government contractors will be completely stopped if the dues are not cleared by March 31.
