Russo brothers wish Dhanush good luck for 'Jagame Thandhiram'.

Actor Dhanush, whose gangster movie Jagame Thandhiram is all set to premiere on Netflix from June 18, on Thursday, received a “good luck” message from Hollywood filmmaker duo Russo Brothers. The Russo Brothers, known for blockbuster movies ”Captain America: Civil War”, ”Avengers: Endgame” and ”Extraction” and Dhanush is currently shooting with them for their upcoming high-budget actioner The Grey Man, starring Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling.

Referring to Dhanush’s Tamil dialogue from the trailer, they wrote, “Super da thambi! Excited to be working with Dhanush and good luck with Jagame Thandhiram!” The Karthik Subbaraj directorial is a story of a Madurai-based parotta master who gets entangled in the war between two gangs in London. Jagame Thandhiram also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Kalaiyarasan, James Cosmo and Joju George. The film stars Dhanush in the role of a Madurai-based gangster who travels to London to settle scores. The film, produced by YNot Studios and Reliance Entertainment, is set to premiere on Netflix on June 18. Dhanush is currently in the US, where he is shooting for The Russo Brothers’ ”The Gray Man, gone to train for his action sequences in ”The Gray Man”, which is based on Mark Greaney’s 2009 novel of the same name. In the movie, the South star will share screen space with the likes of Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, ”Bridgerton” breakout Regé-Jean Page ”Narcos” actor Wagner Moura, ”Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” child actor Julia Butters and ”Game of Thrones” alum Jessica Henwick.
