Sharon Murder Case : Fully Satisfied with the Verdict, Says Sharon’s Mother

Following the sentencing of Greeshma to death in the Parassala Sharon murder case, Sharon’s parents broke down in tears. They expressed their gratitude by bowing in court. Sharon’s mother said they were completely satisfied with the verdict, describing the judge as a divine presence delivering justice. She further expressed thanks to the court, stating that her innocent son had finally received justice.

Meanwhile, investigation officer D. Shilpa remarked that the punishment awarded to Greeshma was a collective victory. She noted that Greeshma had repeatedly attempted to mislead the investigation. Despite all evidence being presented, Greeshma continued to claim innocence, Shilpa added.

The court sentenced Greeshma, the prime accused, to death and imposed a fine of ₹3 lakhs. The third accused, Nirmal Kumar, was sentenced to three years in prison and fined ₹50,000. The Neyyattinkara Additional Sessions Court delivered the verdict.

The judgment was pronounced by Neyyattinkara Additional Sessions Judge A.M. Basheer. Greeshma was charged under IPC Section 302 (murder), Section 364 (kidnapping for murder), Section 328 (causing harm by administering poison), and Section 203 (misleading an investigation).
