Wayanad: Siddharth’s family thanked Governor Arif Mohammad Khan for taking strict action on the death of Siddharth, who was brutally brutalized by SFI leaders at Pookod Veterinary University. Siddharth’s father Jayaprakash stated that he is satisfied with the action taken by the university chancellor.
It is serious that the VC was not aware of such huge atrocities in the university. Reacting that Kerala got a governor with backbone, the father responded that he understood about the position of the governor after the arrival of Arif Muhammad Khan and he has proved that the job is not just about signing.
University VC Dr. MR. Raj Bhavan issued the order suspending Sashindranath a little earlier. According to the order, the student was subjected to harassment for several days due to gross negligence on the part of the university authorities.
The governor is a man with backbone. Governor also means Chancellor. A few years ago I had no idea what that job was. It was only after Arif Muhammad Khan came that the power of the governor’s position was understood. Siddharth’s father responded that many people in Kerala could understand the duties of the governor.
