Supplyco Employees Face Crisis as Salaries Delayed Since June 7

Thiruvananthapuram: Salary disbursement of Supplyco employees has stopped. The salary for the month of May, which was supposed to be received by the 5th, did not reach the employees even after the 7th of June. Supplyco informs that it may take 10th day to get the salary. Thousands of employees of KSRTC and Supplyco are suffering due to the suspension of salaries even in the month of June when the school opens.KSRTC also has not yet distributed the salary for the month of May. KSRTC explains that the reason for the crisis is the non-availability of funds allocated by the Finance Department.

Labor unions are planning to protest the issue. The Chief Minister assured that the salary will be distributed before the 5th. After KB Ganesh Kumar took over as the Minister of Transport, he had promised to pay the salaries on the very first day.
