Tenth-grade student’s death: Accused students will be allowed to write the exam

Kozhikode: The five students accused in the death of 10th class student Muhammed Shahabas in Thamarassery, Kozhikode, will be allowed to write the SSLC examination. The five students will be shifted to the observation home in Vellimadukunn. The decision in this regard was taken by the Juvenile Justice Board. The parents had demanded that the students be allowed to write the examination. The decision to allow them to write the examination was taken keeping this in mind.

Meanwhile, Deputy Headmaster of MJ Higher Secondary School in Vattoli,Elate, Muhammad Ismail, reacted to Shahbaz’s death. Shahbaz was not a child who showed any discipline and said that the students participated in the school’s sent-off held on the 13th of this month in uniform. After the sent-off, the students were taken home in the school bus. It was ensured that the children reached home.

There have been no problems between students at Korangad School and MJHSS before. Teachers try to join students’ social media groups. The group created now has not come to our attention and students do not bring mobile phones to school, said Muhammad Ismail.
