Thrissur: Union Minister Suresh Gopi said that the plan for the reconstruction of Thrissur railway station has been decided. Action will be taken in the incident of leakage of the south tower of Vadakkumnath temple. Suresh Gopi said that he has not given the report requested from the Archaeological Department, instead he will give the report and present the matter in the Cabinet.
300 crore construction work will be done. Out of the three designs, the one proposed by the Prime Minister was chosen. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will be informed about the selection of the design soon. Suresh Gopi informed that there will be an official announcement in two days.
Railway authorities have been instructed to complete the tender process and start the construction before 45 days. The existing facilities will increase tenfold. The Union Minister said that we will be convinced after the construction is completed
