Thrissur: Two youths arrested with ganja and drugs in Vatanapally. Sayanth and Shijil were arrested by Vatanapally excise. 140 grams of ganja and 1.07 grams of MDMA were seized from them.
Excise said that the accused were bringing ganja and MDMA in large quantities in Vatanapally area and retailing them to the needy. The excise team also stated that they are investigating where the accused are getting the drugs from.
Sayant was caught with 140 grams of ganja from Thriprayar area during a patrol conducted by the Vatanapally range party. On the basis of questioning him, a young man named Shijil was also arrested from Cherp area. During the examination, 1.07 grams of MDMA was recovered from him.
