Undergoing Repairs After a Month of Inactivity, Nava Kerala Bus Shifted to Bengaluru for Maintenance

The Navakerala bus, which was in complaint for a month, was shifted to Bengaluru for repairs. The action was taken when the bus was in complaint. The explanation is that it has been transferred to Prakash Coach Builders Pvt Ltd, which manufactured the bus in Bengaluru, for maintenance. The bus has been at Kozhikode regional workshop for more than one month.

The bus service on the Kozhikode-Bengaluru route started from May 5, in which the ministerial delegation including Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was traveling to attend the Navakerala Sadas organized by the state government. But the service was stopped when there were no passengers. The last Navakerala bus service was run on July 21.

It is reported that repairs are being carried out in the bus, including removing the toilet and adding seats. The bus service was started without changing the color or body as it was used for Nava Kerala Yatra. On that day, the chair prepared for the Chief Minister was changed to a double seat. On the other hand, high ticket prices and inconvenient timings have kept passengers away from Navakerala buses.
