Thiruvananthapuram. VC’s suggestion to stop the Kerala University Art Festival in the background of widespread protests and students protesting the results of the competition. VC Mohan Kunnummal said that no more competitions will be held, no verdict will be announced and there will be no final assembly.

At the same time, all the complaints received regarding the arts festival will be examined. Controversies also started on the day the art festival started. The police had arrested three umpires on charges of taking money for the declaration of results. Later, KSU protested, alleging that the SFIs had beaten them up.

The protest on Monday was alleging that the decision of the signature competition was not correct. The students said that the appeal was not even considered.
