Widespread rain expected in Kerala for the coming days

Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has indicated that there is a possibility of a low-pressure area forming again over the Bay of Bengal. A cyclone has formed over the Lakshadweep region. As a result of these developments, widespread rain is expected in the state in the coming days, according to the Central Meteorological Department.

There is also a possibility of isolated thunderstorms, so caution is advised. Currently, there is a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal. A cyclone is expected to form over the northern Andaman Sea by Sunday. The weather department forecasts that this system may strengthen into a low-pressure area over the central Bay of Bengal by Tuesday. All these factors are influencing rainfall in Kerala, the meteorological department noted.
