A plantation worker died in a wild buffalo attack in Valpara. The deceased was identified as Arun (51) of Murukali Estate near Sholayar Dam. The incident happened this morning. Arun was attacked by a wild buffalo while he was going to work from his residence.
A wild buffalo stationed in the tea garden attacked Arun from behind. He was immediately rushed to the government hospital in Valpara but his life could not be saved as he was severely injured and bleeding. Last day, an elephant tried to attack an ambulance on Anamala Road.
