Filmmaker Sean Baker, who handled the film’s direction, screenplay, and editing, won two Oscars, being recognized as both Best Director and Best Screenwriter.
Adrien Brody won the award for Best Actor for his remarkable performance in The Brutalist. This marks another Oscar win for Brody, who first received the prestigious award at the age of 29 for his unforgettable role in The Pianist.
Mickey Madison delivered a deeply moving performance as a sex worker in Anora, earning her the Best Actress award. Her acceptance speech went viral, as she openly voiced support for sex workers, receiving a resounding ovation from the audience.
