Thrissur: Widespread protest against Kalamandalam Satyabhama, who castigated against RLV Ramakrishnan, brother of late actor Kalabhavan Mani, a dancer. Satyabhama’s controversial remark was made in an interview given to a YouTube channel. Satyabhama’s words were that it is unpleasant for men to play Mohiniyattam and that he has the color of a crow.
Meanwhile, RLV Ramakrishnan announced that legal action will be taken against Satyabhama’s insult. RLV Ramakrishnan responded through social media that it is a situation where a Scheduled Caste artiste cannot stand in the dance field due to such persons. He also clarified that people with rotten minds like this will be brought before the law.
