Thiruvananthapuram: A huge fire broke out at a vehicle showroom in Kazhakootam, Mangalapuram. The fire broke out at the Eicher showroom in Chudakkal, Mangalapuram. The incident happened at three o’clock. Three vehicles were completely gutted. A new bus and two old vehicles were completely gutted.
A private nursing college bus was also damaged. Five fire force units from Venjarammudu, Kazhakoottam, Chaka and Kalambalam have arrived to douse the fire. A police team led by Attingal DYSP also reached the spot.
The fire first broke out from a minilorry that was damaged in an accident and brought in for work. Later, the fire spread to the new bus parked nearby.
