Four suspects have been arrested in the incident where a tribal youth dragged a woman across the road in a car in Wayanad’s Mananthavady, Koodalkadavu. The police had identified the driver as Arshid, a native of Pachilakad.
The police have received information that the two people in the vehicle were from Pachilakadu and two youths from Panamaram Vatochal. The police identified the accused Arshad and his four friends and registered a case of attempt to murder against them.
Yesterday, the police had announced that the car that the youth had dragged Mathan into was found and seized. The car was found in Kaniyampatta. The Mananthavady police said that the accused will be arrested today. The vehicle is currently at the Mananthavady station. The police had intensified the search for the Celerio car with registration number KL 52 H 8733.
