Madurai: Narcotics case accused Harshad arrested from Kannur Central Jail. He was arrested on Thursday from Sivaganga in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Harshad was brought to Kannur town station on Friday morning. He will be produced in court soon.
The friend who helped was already in police custody. The police also found the bike they were traveling on. From questioning him, Harshad got information about the woman who was providing help in Tamil Nadu. The suspect was caught in the subsequent investigation.
On January 14, TC Harshad, who was convicted in a drug case, was jailed. When he went out to pick up the newspaper in the morning, when he reached the gate near the Gandhi statue, he cut off the guard’s eyes and ran down the stairs to the road. Then he would escape on the bike with the person waiting on the road.
Harshad was sentenced to ten years in the drug case. Then he escaped from jail while he was serving his sentence in Kannur Central Jail.
