Kozhikode: Kozhikode Collector Snehil Kumar Singh has said that action will be taken against tuition centers operating without authorization. The Collector explained to the media after the CWC meeting held in the context of the case related to the death of class 10 student Shahabaz, and that Child Line boards will be installed in all educational institutions.
“A vigilance committee will be formed in schools. Action will be taken against unauthorized tuition centers. The presence of counselors will be ensured in schools. Aided and unaided. It will be ensured that there are counselors in private institutions as well. An inspection will be conducted regarding the functioning of tuition centers.” Centers operating illegally will be closed down. Special attention will be paid to the spread of drugs, he added.
