Pathanamthitta: The heat is increasing in the state. More people have suffered from sunburn. Three people have suffered from sunburn in Pathanamthitta, Kozhikode and Malappuram districts. Suresh suffered burns in Anayamkunnu, Kozhikode. He suffered sunburn on his neck while going to a banana plantation. A middle-aged man suffered sunburn in Cherumukku, Tirurangadi, Malappuram. The victim is a 44-year-old named Hussain. Hussain suffered sunburn on his right hand and neck while working on the terrace of his house around 12 noon.
One person suffered from heatstroke in Konni, Pathanamthitta. Konni Grama Panchayat member K.G. Udayan suffered from heatstroke at 12:30 pm today. The State Disaster Management Authority has issued precautionary instructions for the public in the wake of high heat being reported in the state.
