Actor and BJP state vice-president Devan reacted to the daily attacks in Kerala. He was reacting to the death of Pookode Veterinary College student Siddharth and the issue of people being killed in wild animal attacks.
The central government has provided a lot of funds for the protection of wildlife. But none of that money is used here. No matter if a man is beaten to death or an elephant is trampled to death, no one takes responsibility for any of this. The rulers here are silent. Kerala has been insecure for years. We have to find a solution for it.
All the people must come down. A student was beaten to death the other day. No one in the administration responded to this. There is sadness. I have seen a lot of protests. But nothing has been resolved. Human life has no value in Kerala. If it wants to change, people should come forward regardless of political and religious differences.
