He warned that if the harassment persists, he would be forced to take further action.
The controversy arose after a video circulated on social media falsely alleging that Kokila is not the daughter of Bala’s uncle but the daughter of a domestic worker. This prompted Bala’s sharp reaction, which has since gone viral on social media platforms.

“Kokila is deeply upset. A single message goes viral, and this is what happens. How can someone have the audacity to call another man’s wife a domestic worker? Is this what you call culture? What should I say about your wife in return? Kokila is my uncle’s daughter, and today, my wife’s eyes are filled with tears.
Is there a law in this land that permits such insults? We contribute so much to society in Vaikkom. Talk about films, acting, or upcoming releases. But why stoop so low as to attack someone personally?
Her father, a prominent figure in politics, advised us against filing a police complaint, stating they would handle it. But those responsible must apologize. I didn’t start this. There must be a basic decency. Don’t interfere in someone’s family like this,” Bala said.
