Thodupuzha: Actor Subrahmani (57) collapsed and passed away while returning after attending the CPM district conference in Thodupuzha. He was a Tamil film and serial actor as well as a CPM activist.
A native of Ikkha Nagar, Munnar, Subrahmani collapsed at Adimali while returning from the CPM district conference in Thodupuzha.
Although he was rushed to the hospital, he could not be saved. The cause of death was a heart attack. He was a former secretary of the CPM Ikkha Nagar branch. Subrahmani had acted in several hit Tamil films, including Mynaa, Kazhugu, and Kumki.
