Kochi: Actress Kanakalatha (63) passed away. He died at his residence in Thiruvananthapuram. He has acted in more than 350 films. He has also acted in many serials. Kanakalata entered the film industry through drama. Even though they were small roles, he acted in memorable roles for Malayalees.
She had been suffering from Alzheimer’s disease for a long time. He entered the film industry from theater. Kanakalatha acted in more than thirty serials. Kanakalatha has also acted in dramas like Pramani Indulekha and Swathi Thirunal.
She excelled in her roles in many films like Chillu, Kariyilakattupole, Rajaavinte makan, Jagurta, kireedam, ente Suryaputrik, Kawravar, Amma anaeSatyam, Thacholi Varghese Chekavar, Aniyathi Prav, Harikrishnans, Mattupetti Machan, Priyam etc. Her last film was Pookalam which released last year.
