Actress Prayaga Martin has stated that she has never met Om Prakash, the suspect in a drug case. She clarified that she was at the hotel with friends and emphasized that she does not use drugs.
In her words: “I arrived from Kozhikode around 4:30 PM, took a nap, and then received a call that mentioned this person named Om Prakash. I have no idea what this is about, and I don’t know this person at all. Social media tends to create stories from thin air, and I have no obligation to accept that.”
She added that she arrived at the hotel at 5 AM, as she had a train to Kozhikode at 8:30 AM, and was resting in her hotel room. There was also a four or five-year-old child with her in the room. After resting for about two hours, she left around 7 AM.
Prayaga mentioned that she only heard Om Prakash’s name from those who called her and later searched for more information online.
