Thiruvananthapuram: Senior IPS officer ADGP P Vijayan has been appointed as the state intelligence chief. A crucial order has been issued in this regard. ADGP P Vijayan is the officer who was suspended following the report of former law and order in-charge ADGP MR Ajith Kumar.
He is currently the Director of the Police Academy. P Vijayan has been appointed as the head of the intelligence department, Manoj Abraham, who has been shifted to the charge of law and order. Ernakulam Range IG A Akbar has also been appointed as Director of Police Academy.
